Timing in the Face of COVID-19: A Look at Financial Market Impacts presentation by Victor Yodaiken at virtual 2020 WSTS on May 13, 2020.

The graph above shows a solid NTP internet clock source (blue) versus a precise GPS source (green). The GPS source locks system time to within a few tens of nanoseconds. The talk discusses a number of issues found in setting up a home office clock sync system, all of which are relevant to data-center clock sync and particularly relevant to financial trading.  Access the talk here.
